Notes on White Mould

• White Mould or Sclerotinia Stem Rot is caused by Sclerotinia sclerotiorum
• Fungus overwinters as sclerotia in the soil and re-appears when the crop canopy closes in July/August
• Symptoms include white, bleached lesions on stems; white mycelium on surface of lesions; followed by rapid wilting.
• Heads Up® is an excellent additional Mode of Action for White Mould prevention in both Soybeans and Dry Beans.
• White Mould can be suppressed with many fungicides, but ONLY Heads Up® gives you preventative control from time of germination due to Systemic Acquired Resistance (S.A.R.)
